Welcome to our Preschool room.

We are a fun, energetic and diverse setting, the staff are extremely friendly, bubbly and caring with a fantastic ethos that is passed on to the children to the best of our ability. Littleleaps is a small, bright, open planned setting that is divided into 2 groups; 'babies and young children' and 'preschool' both areas have access to their outdoor areas. Your child is sure to make lots of friends and we hope with all that we have to offer your child will thrive within our setting; allowing us to nurture their learning and development further at this key developmental age. We have up to 24 children within our preschool room aged between 2 years and 4 years old each session.

The pre-school room is split into zones. In these zones your child will be exploring through play. The zones are set out into areas of play which are: Creative art, Messy/discovery, quiet literacy, expressive arts and role play area and small world. The children are able to access all resources and equipment within these areas, and have adult support whenever needed. We carry out a wide range of activities both adult led and child initiated, these are based on your child's individual interests and abilities. We monitor your child's progress by making observations and completing their online learning journey. All activities are assessed to the needs of the children and are carefully planned to promote their individual developmental stage.
