Food bank drop off

Following our food bank collection this week we had the opportunity to deliver our items this morning. We caught the local bus route into town with our food items. The children had the chance to have a show around the food bank too. Once we arrived we stored all our items into crates ready to be sorted at the food bank. We then went into the food bank and was shown the process here. We were shown weighing scales and weighed some food items on it too. We looked at different areas such as “frozen foods” and tinned foods as well. The children had the chance to ask questions too. We are waiting for our own items to be weighed and will find out this information soon. We will keep you all updated
