After reading a book at welcome time this morning we continued this interest and extended the children’s learning by creating our own stories. We used story cards as props to help create our own imaginative stories and ideas. Pre school created their own ideas; some linking to the story card prompts and some from their own ideas. One child suggested we visited a panda during our story and adventure. We then explored where pandas live by looking at our world map. This afternoon we then made our own pandas by painting and making prints. We also looked at the world map and we explored what pandas may eat and what it is like where they live. To extend further we watched a video about pandas and learnt some new facts.
